We have provided communications, marketing and design support for a number of significant infrastructure projects across Te Tauihu – bridges, roads, dams and buildings - working as part of project teams with engineering consultancies, NZTA, Councils or Council-controlled organisations.
Purposeful and timely community and stakeholder engagement is a vital part of a successful infrastructure project, as is using plain English in communications.
We have worked on the communications for projects at the feasibility and business case stages, during construction, and post-construction. Our work covers website builds, public updates through social media, newsletters and community presentations.
The mainstream media are key to helping the public understand their significant infrastructure. We have facilitated regular media tours to sites for project updates and to VIP site visits as appropriate. When sites are difficult to access, we manage the creation of photo and video assets for publication.
Publik highlights have been the dawn opening of the Opaua Bridge, the two day opening events of the stunning Nelson Airport, the successful completion of the award-winning Waimea Community Dam.
The communications and engagement work on the Marlborough Sounds Future Access Study won a number of national and international awards, for which Publik is very proud.
