THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT SECTOR
Putting our hands up for the people doing the work that matters.

Important work deserves to be seen and heard.
Our not-for-profit clients save lives, protect critically endangered species, support vulnerable communities and restore hope where it's been lost. Their work matters.
How the impact of their work is communicated also matters. Even the most vital causes struggle without the funding, volunteers and public support that come from being clearly seen and understood.
Publik provides not-for-profits with marketing, PR, digital and brand support to help organisations reach communities, attract funding and inspire people to take action.
Our full-service team brings together public relations, marketing, digital and design expertise to communicate with clarity and purpose. From building a brand or campaign identity from scratch to running the fundraising campaign that keeps the lights on.

A sector we stand by, proudly.
If you ask us what makes us smile, we can tell you about a number of proud moments from over the years.
We helped the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter raise millions of dollars to keep their helicopters, pilots and paramedics in the air, and supported Nelson Tasman Hospice with its fundraising goals through the Hands Up for Hospice appeal. We've been alongside the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary since 2016, through its fence construction, pest eradication, bridge and path openings, and the successful translocation of kiwi pukupuku in 2025. We created the Wellby brand from the ground up to help combat loneliness and connect people with their communities. We helped the AI Sandbox find its audience as it raced to inform, educate and train New Zealanders on artificial intelligence, including co-presenting workshops to upskill more than 140 not-for-profits on AI policy and procedure. We've advised Age Concern on its communications and website user experience, and we’ve written and designed the sponsorship and fundraising collateral behind the Huia Rugby Club's push for a new clubroom.
Publik is proud to work behind the scenes helping charities and not-for-profits build their profile, connect with supporters and show the difference they make. That's meant creating brands, developing and promoting annual fundraising campaigns, organising ministerial and stakeholder visits that showcase the work and strengthen relationships, and using our media relationships and PR expertise to help not-for-profits earn their fair share of positive coverage.
See below for some examples of how we can help you, or jump straight to (just some of) our previous work.
